The 3331 Arts Chiyoda is a haven of art in the middle of Akihabara, the anime district of Tokyo Prefecture. Launched in 2010, the place has since been housing several artworks from different creative minds in its huge multi-level art building. The location was actually the place of the old Rensei Junior High School, opening the school to travelers and tourists. Aside from the exhibitions, this art institution also offers workshops and events for the future artists of Japan.
The name of the place is ever creative. It came form the Edo Ippon Jime practice wherein people shout "Iyo-o!" followed by 3 sets of 3 claps and then ending with 1 clap.
