This horizontal building is actually a museum building located in the district of Roppongi, Minato Ward, Tokyo. Called the 21_21 Design Sight, the museum is designed by architect Tadao Ando. The concept of the building is also indluenced by fashion designer Issey Miyake. Composed of around 1, 700 square meters, the whole museum houses two galleries and a cafe managed by Chef Takamasa Uetake.

The design of the building includes steel roof which are hand-sanded and the 14-meter long glass panels. The hand-sanded roof is inspired by Issey Miyake's concep of POC or "piece of cloth."
