Geopolitics refers to politics as influenced by geographical factors. Japan’s history was determined by land ownership and security. The people who have lands have the power over the resources, and by extension, the power over the people.
In the view of the fact that Japan’s geography is divided, the shifting of power has been constant, making Japan’s mindset inclined to hierarchical structure.
