The Tai Mikuji is a fun twist in getting your Omikuji, literally ‘Sacred Lot’. Omikujis are Japanese fortune-telling paper strips that are found in shrines and temples. By fishing the Tai, or the red snapper, it will result in a play of words.
The Omikuji can have different levels of luck, ranging from Great Blessing to Great Curse. The fortunes with bad lucks are folded up and tied to a pine tree to avoid the fortune.
The Omikuji can have writings of the different aspects in life such as work, studies and even love.
The Tai Mikuji is another way of getting your Omikuji. Omikuji are also being sold in vending machines.
