Kyoto Aoi Matsuri

Aoi Matsuri was held at Kyoto on May 15, 2014. It is an annual celebration wherein the procession of people, wearing costumes from the Heian Period, departed the Kyoto Imperial Palace. They went to Shimogamo Shrine first, before heading to Kamigamo Shrine.
The 2014 edition of Aoi Matsuri Festival saw visitors whom were treated into a sort of classical, delightful view as seats were provided at the Shimagamo Shrine for viewing purposes.
