In Subadaashi, Tokyo, a master craftsman is known for repairing books and make it look like new or nearly back to its original state.

In this video Mr. Okano will be repairing a 1000-paged dictionary owned by Mr. Takashi, which is at its very terrible state, from folded corners of pages to its spine, and deteriorated cover. Watch as how this aged book got rejuvenated through the process of restoration which involes the Urauchi and Segatame methods.
