With the theme, ‘The Heart of Japanese Hospitality’, the Embassy of Japan organized a small gathering in the residence of the Ambassador of Japan. 

While there are differences in the culture of the Japanese and the Omani, it did not prevent them from having fun! With activities such as Origami (the art of paper folding), sushi-making, and Mochitsuki (Rice cake pounding), the guests made their appreciation of the traditions known. 

There are also events like the Kimono Fashion Show, Tea Ceremony, and Ikebana (Flower Arrangement) to celebrate the Japanese culture.
