How to Read and Write Katakana Alphabet | Learn Japanese for Beginners

Katakana is one of the three writing systems of Japanese. It consists of symbols that represent consonant and vowel sounds grouped into syllables. Learning Katakana is essential to achieve fluency and skill in speaking and writing. The other writing systems are hiragana (used to write change meanings) of Kanji or in instances where Kanji isn't used. Watch this video by Japanese Calligrapher Takumi.
