Watch as the townspeople of Gujo, Japan gives tribute to the spirit of their ancestors by means of the dance known as Gujo Odori held at the rugby grounds of Kita-Aoyama.
Gujo Odori is a Bon Festival (an event usually made by Japanese Buddhists in order to honor the spirit of one's ancestors) held every summer at Gujo Cty in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The festival showcases 10 kinds of dances and lasts 32 days from mid-July to early September, with four straight days of Obon in August (13-16 August) being slated for all-night long, non-stop dancing.
