Fuku warai is a Japanese game being played during New Year. 

The game originated and became popular during the Edo period. During the Taisho era, the people started playing it as a New Year's game. Back then, they are using only one design, the round face of a woman, but now, they are using and creating different faces. It can be a face of a popular actor or a comic hero or other face they want.

To play this very interesting game,  one player should be blindfolded while the other one should make face cutouts. The player with blindfold should arrange the cutouts to create a face. After that, remove the blindfold and see the face the other player created.
