Shinri Tenzuka is the 27-year-old self-taught candy master of the store, Ameshin.

His craft is called Amezaiku, the ancient craft of sculpting candy. Softened candy is heated and is readily shaped in a span of 5 minutes, or the candy will already be hard. The candy is then painted with edible colors so the food will be more appealing to the eyes.

The Ameshin store is located at tje 4th floor of Tokyo Solamachi, a department store in Oshiage, Tokyo.
