Omizutori, more known as the sacred water-drawing festival, takes place every March at the Nigatsu-dō of Tōdai-ji, Nara, Japan. This serves as a final rite of the two-week long Shuni-e ceremony, wherein meant to cleanse people from their sins and also usher the spring season in the country.
