It's not the first time that Kosaka Cocona appeared in the public. That was 2017 when Kosaka Cocona was brought to life by a robot development company, Speecys Corp. Now, Kosaka Cocona has gone through a lot of changes. She can now have jerky gestures and smooth movements with greater articulation from its 37 joints. The smooth and delicate articulation of Kosaka Cocona creates sensitivity and dynamic behavior that allows her to express subtle expressions and emotions with its gestures.

Because of these features, Kosaka Cocona is now dubbed as the world first for its human-like emotional gestures.
