In 1995, Nintendo once again made a mark in the game industry by creating Virtual Boy, which is said to be the first ever game console to display stereoscopic 3D graphics.
Being a table-top device, viewers use it by peeping onto the "eyepiece" on the red part of the device, while using the controller. Inside the eyepiece are the "3D" red monochromatic graphics that may seem to appear advanced, considering the year of the launch of the game console.
However, the Virtual Boy did not actually do great in the market, unlike Nintendo's Famicom and other more popular game consoles.
