Transformers came forth to the Earth, on the silver screen, in the year 2007.

In commemoration of Transformers' tenth anniversary on the big screen this year, KDDI, one of Japan's leading telecommunications company, announced a new Transformers-inspired product.  KDDI will be launching three Transformer "phones," bearing the cool designs of Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, Bumblebee, the yellow Autobot, and Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons.

The phone-looking devices will be functioning as a bluetooth receiver that will display notifications from your actual phone. 

Being a crowdfunded project, the launch depends on the success of the fund-raising, and not meeting the target money may mean cancellation of the launch.
