Just when we thought we can only see robots like those from those Mecha anime series as either a toy or a gigantic replica statue, think again.

Kogoro Kurata created a giant 4-ton Transformer-like super robot named KURATAS. This huge machine has a cockpit in its torso where a human can sit and operate with the help of motion sensor technology. It can also run on the roads with a maximum speed of 10 kilometers per hour (kph or km/h). His passion for making this robot has taken Japan's pool of androids to a whole bigger level, way bigger than the likes of Asimo.
