Sending data by just touching any part of someone's body - finger, arms and palms? That is made possible by Japan's Panasonic that displayed the device prototype in the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies CEATEC show.
The device looks like a watch. It was reported that the device can send data up to 100 kilobytes per second of data - a very slow speed that it could take you hundreds to thousands of hours to send megabytes and gigabytes of data. The video shows the reporter shaking hands with a woman and then transfers the colour data to another person. Panasonic is looking forward to miniaturizing the device and hopeful to market it.
