Tokyo University will show you how to eat a cookie like never before.
Food and science collide in this virtual food hacking experiment headed by Takuji Narumi, Assistant Professor of Tokyo University's Cyber Interface Lab. His projects are composed of two: The Meta Cookie Project and the Augmented Satiety Project.
The team uses a cookie for the two experiments. All cookies are of the same size but somehow, by changing the visual and olfactory perception of the cookie through a VR helmet, the taste and amount of cookie you eat will also change. Narumi adds that through the technology of augmented reality, you can fool your brain into thinking you've eaten a large serving of cookie when you've only eaten a regular-sized cookie. You feel full immediately, thus helping you lose weight.
Narumi and team focuses on manipulating the senses to create new eating experiences. He makes you lose weight through brain hacking.
