Meet this robot as it breaks another Guinness World Record for playing table tennis.
This robot is called FORPHEUS or Future Omron Robotics Technology for Exploring Possibility of Harmonized aUtomation with Sinic Theoretics. This genius is developed by Omron Corporation.
This robot is the first table tennis coach. It has two vision sensor that can identify the motion of the pingpong ball and motion sensor that can identify the movement of the other player. This table tennis robot teacher can also determine if the person is a good or a bad player.
FORPHEUS, together with its encouraging messages on its LED screen, is indeed a great innovation in the world of sports.
