Super Komachi Shinkansen, New Addition to Japanese Bullet Train Lineup (March 16, 2013)

In a nation where trains are blasting to the speed of light, another name is an addition to their roster of bullet trains.
Super Komachi Shinkansen is a new E6 Shinkansen model in the Shinkansen line up. It runs to a max of 300 kilometers per hour (kph/km/h).
Super Komachi Shinkansen debuted on March 16, 2013, serving the route of Tokyo and Akita via their East Japan Railways (JR) stations.
