Japanese scientist invented a tiny electronic light that floats or levitates in the ultrasonic waves. Named Luciola, It's tiny and very light that it only weighs 16.2 mg and constitutes a diameter of 0.14 inches or 3.5 mm. It emits a red light. The sound waves are inaudible to the human ear. Possible applications include the internet of things where appliances are connected to the internet, mapping projection events, make moving displays and deliver messages. Makoto Takamiya who is the member of Kawahara Universal Information Network Project said that it took 2 years to finish the project. A university professor from Tokyo hoped that the Luciola will be commercially available in five to ten years.
