Robots replace graduates at Japan graduation ceremony amid Covid-19 pandemic

Amidst the pandemic gripping the world and Japan, the university management decided to use robots with tablets plastered onto their faces to show the live streaming video of remote students who are using laptops via the internet. The ceremony organizers believed that this will reduce the chances of virus infection.
