Nissan has created something new—and it is NOT what you’d expect.
The vehicle manufacturer partnered with a traditional Japanese inn to wow guests with self-parking slippers.
Nissan’s self-parking foot wear are equipped with the latest autonomous parking technology, the ProPilot Park. The same (albeit simpler) technology in the new Nissan LEAF was released just the previous year.
If that’s not crazy techy enough, even tables, TV remote controls and floor cushions are equipped with two tiny wheels, a motor and sensors, requiring only a push of a button to automatically return to its ‘parking’ space.
The ProPilot Park Ryokan lets travelers fully experience Japan in all its traditional and modern wonders.
