Nintendo Zapper or The Gun, Beam Gun and Duck Hunt Gun in Japan is a pistol-shaped electronic light gun accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985 and the Nintendo Famicom in 1984.

Unlike other guns, the Nintendo Zapper has no real grip and the handle is hard plastic. With the help of the Zapper, players can shoot various objects that appear on the screen such as ducks, targets, criminals, and other objectives at the television display.
