The phenomenal fidget spinners took the world by storm this year, inciting a new kind of passion for toy lovers. Apparently, when it comes to toys and technology, Japan would not be sufficed with being just an underdog. Because of this, they created their own version of the fidget spinners.

Called Mokuru, these little toys for the hands can surely take all the focus of any child or adult. Designed by Masakazu Node, this weighted wooden tube toy technology is actually inspired by schoolchildren twirling their pens on their hands. Toshio Sato, a craftsman, is the one who brought Node's design to reality.
