Toshiba staged a technology expo titled Let's Play with the Future at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi's Hajimarino Cafe area, wherein the company staged their products including Chihira Aico, a humanoid who once became a reception in an elite department store in Tokyo, as well as appearing at last year's CEATEC consumer electronics trade show. This time, she worked as a tour guide of the expo.

Aside from Aico, visitors also met Toshiba's interactive ApriPetit who tells their fortunes as they pass on. Shadow Robo was also exhibited in the expo. But apart from the robots, Toshiba showed their traditional art with a modern twist and creating indoor vegetable farms.
