JVC or the Japan Victor Company has been an international name in the field of technological and consumer electronics from Japan.
It started out in 1927 as a subsidiary of the Victor Talking Machine Company, an American phonograph and record company. Two years later, most of the ownership rights of the company was transferred to another US-based company, the RCA or the Radio Corporation of America. In 1953, Panasonic corporation owned most of the shares of the company.
Since then, the company had more merges with other companies until 2008 when it joined the Kenwood Corporation to produce one of the best electronics in the world.
