Japan's Artificial Meteor Showers

The Japan-based space entertainment startup, ALE Co. Ltd or Astro Live Experiences created a microsatellite that will bring the first-ever artificial meter shower. It contains 400 tiny balls that will create shooting stars on demand using microsatellites.
They have tested the artificial meteor shower in Japan on January 17. However, the first man-made meteor shower will happen in the Spring of 2020 at Hiroshima and Seto inland sea.
The natural shooting stars will occur when dust particles of several millimeters in size enter the Earth's atmosphere and burn due to plasma emission.
