Visitors of Mitsukoshi department store were welcomed by a humanoid named Chihira Aico.

The human-like robot had her debut appearance on Monday at the uptown department store located in the Nihonbashi neighborhood in Tokyo. During her cameo, visitors who entered Mitsukoshi were welcomed by the receptionist ChihiraAico and proceeded to assist them in locating goods on different floors.

Her presence also prompted visiting shoppers and bystanders to notice her and even take videos.
