Japan, country, that spans 3 climate zones due to its long archipelago, grows rice like its south-east Asian neighbour the Philippines. The Japanese use a method that efficiently plants and grows rice. For instance, they use conveyor belts to plant seeds onto trays, machines to till the soil, spacious buildings to keep young plants, and harvester machines.
