A national tragedy prompted Japan to phase out all nuclear power resources and made technology that also focuses on environmental-friendly features as showcased at the country's most important electronic and information technologies event, the 2012 Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technology (CEATEC) show. The biggest tech conglomerates such as Nissan, Toshiba, and Toyota, rolled their newest inventions geared towards saving energy and maximizing the renewable sources, as well as offering breakthroughs through the use of gadgets and vehicles.
