Hospi is Panasonic's new airport and hotel robot. Hospi can speak in 3 languages: Japanese, English and Chinese. Hospi is ready to serve guests by mid-January 2017 at the Narita International Airport and the ANA Crowne Plaza Narita.
Initially intended to be visitor assistants in hospitals, Panasonic realized their change of vision, knowing that visitors from around the world will be up high in 2020, in time for the Tokyo Summer Olympics Games. Thus, they are hopeful that Hospi will be more useful in hotels around the country.
Hospi's basic services will be serving bottled water stored on its belly to guests, annoucing bus departures, and collecting used dishware and delivering them to the counter.
