Famicom 3D System is an accessory that is exclusively released in Japan in 1987 for the Nintendo Family Computer.
Having a pair of active shutter glasses and an adapter to connect to them to the Famicom's third player expansion port, the Famicom 3D System is designed to give the Famicom gamer a three-dimensional experience during gameplay.
It didn't reach the Nintendo Entertainment System in the United States because it has six compatible games and some players complain about the uncomfortable headset.
