When winter season hits Japan, the mountains suddenly turn white and ski resorts suddenly become crowded. In Hyogo Prefecture, there are 15 ski resorts and 66 lifts waiting to accomodate their visitors. There are 115.3 km of slopes included in Hyogo. The large area makes a great space both for beginners and professionals. Some of the famous resorts are the Hachi Kita Kogen, Ojiro, Hyounosen Kokusai, and Sky Valley.
