Niseko is a town in Hokkaido, Japan and is the most famous ski resort in Japan. The resort is popular with locals and foreigners for its powdery snow and exceptional landscape.
Niseko is composed of six resorts. Namely, Niseko Hirafu, Niseko Village, Niseko Annupuri, Niseko Hanazono, Niseko Moiwa,and Niseko Weiss. The major ones being the Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village and Annupuri. A special combination ticket called Niseko All Mountain Pass can be bought to have access to all three resorts.
The ski resorts are located along Hokkaido's Mount Yōtei, a mountain referred to as the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido.
The town has a population of around 10,000 but it would blow up to more than 201,000 during the winter season.
