Shinji Kagawa is undisputedly one of the most successful Japanese club football athletes. He plays for the Japanese national team while also playing at the Borussia Dortmund German club. Growing up in Cerezo, Osaka was all about discovering and hoaning his talent for footballl, until 2010, he joined the Borussia Dortmund club. He spent two years there and then signed a four-year contract wit the Manchester United Football Club in England. Unfortunately after two years, he went back to his first club. Kagawa is holding the record for the most appearances and goals by a Japanese player at the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Club.
