Japanese people are known for their love of events to celebrate their culture. The Sports day is one such event, a fun day to promote active lifestyle and deepen the bond between participants.  The Company Sports day began to disappear in the 1990s. In the past years, the ‘Undokai’ became limited to children and students. 

Due to the weakening relationship between employees, some companies decided to revive the Company Sports day events to improve communication and to promote unity among the employees. By playing popular games such as tug of war and ‘Tama-ire’, the employees worked hard together to win.
