Nozawa Onsen should be one of your first trips if you want to have the best snow experience in Japan.

The snow resort is located in Nozawaonsen, Nagano, Japan and is visited by many for its variety of skiing venues. The resort can be considered as beginner friendly since there is a 5km run that goes through a forest course for beginners. The next course is for those in the intermediate level and of course there are big and teep slopes for professionals. The resort basically has room for all levels.

Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort opened 70 years ago and was used for competitions at the 1998 Winter Olympics.
