Kurumi Nara is a 25-year-old Japanese professional tennis player. She has won five ITF World Cup of Tennis titles one WTA Finals title. She started playing tennis at the age of three. Her junior career won her recognition as a tennis prodigy. In 2007, she won the under-18 singles title at the All Japan Junior Tennis Championships. She also became the first Japanese woman to win the Osaka Mayor's Cup since Ryoko Fuda. She debuted in the international professional scene at the 2010 French Open. She is known to be a slow and steady player, patiently increasing points throughout the game. She is currently in the UK for the ITF Womens Circuit Qualifiers.
