On June 19 (Japan time), Japan made a historical 2-1 win against the Colombian football team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
And one of the most phenomenal assists that made the Japanese team topple the scorecards was performed by none other than Keisuke Honda.
This soccer superstar started his amateur career in Osaka. His professional career then flourished in 2004, when he joined Nagoya Grampus, a football club at the J1 League or the highest division of the Japan Professional Football League.
He also bagged the 2010 FIFA World Cup Man of the Match and the 2011 AFC Asian Cup Most Valuable Player.
