Pop Japan

Japan has also a team that represents the country at the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation. Composed of twelve passionate athletes, the Japan Women's National Wheelchair Basketball Team has been lending their strength to the country for international competitions for women. The team has participated at the Wheelchair Basketball World Championship and has even got fourth place in 2002. They have also participated the Summer Paralympics and has won bronze from 1984 to 2008. They were not able to participate in 2012.
