In 1993, Hideki Matsui's professional baseball career started with the Yomiuri Giants. He had also come to be known for his unique baseball playing: batting with his left hand and throwing with the right. Moreover, this technique made him stay with the Giants for ten season of the Nippon Professional Baseball. And it didn't sto there. In 2003, he flew to the United States of America to play for the phenomenal New York Yankees, and stayed there for six years, until the Major League Baseball 2009. In 2012, he announced his retirement in Japan.
