The excitement is in the sky in this new promotional graphics for Tokyo 2020. This features the Tokyo 2020 emblems exploding like fireworks.
In line with the Summer Olympics and Paralympics to be held in Tokyo, Japan—its organizing committee, Tokyo 2020, announces a ‘1000 Days to Go’ countdown event that will take place in Tokyo’s famous Nihonbashi district.
The countdown began in November 29, 2017—with its streets decorated with banners displaying newly-designed graphics. The whole area was also turned into a giant sports field during the event and will include demonstrations by athletes.
The new graphics unveiled during the event features its emblems rearranged to look like fireworks exploding in the sky.
As Japan is famous for its fireworks displays, these dynamic new designs aims to raise public awareness of the Games and create a sense of anticipation as the countdown towards them continues.
