The end of the 2016 Olympic Summer Games marks the beginning of another chapter in the Olympic realm: TOKYO 2020.
The official handover of the Olympic flag took place at the closing ceremony of Rio 2016 where the next host -- Tokyo, Japan -- was introduced. An impressive display of lights, futuristic technology, synchronized spelling, sports discipline, and anime introduced what Tokyo has to offer -- and this is just the beginning. The prime minister, Shinzo Abe, dressed as Super Mario entered the arena to officially start the show. A mesmerizing performance of visual graphics and dance capped off the ceremony, telling the whole world that the 2020 Olympics is in good and very capable hands.
