Held in Toride, Ibaraki, Japan, the Double Dutch Team Diana set a new world record for the Most Double Dutch-style skips in 30 seconds. Ayumi Sakamaki was able to make 129 skips all in all in a full 360 degree revolution of both skipping ropes. The attempt to break the record was held at a local velodrome in Toride, Ibaraki, Japan. To confirm the new record set by the trio, Kaoru Ishikawa, the Guinness World Records' adjudicator examined the slow motion footage, since Ayumi Sakamaki moved really fast. Ayumi said that they've been dreaming of becoming Guiness World Records title holders.
