The Zen Nihon Joshi Puroresu or the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling promotion has been established by Takahashi Matsunaga and his brothers in the year 1968. It was actually created to facilitate all the promotions of the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling Association. The said promotions actually increased dramatically following the Japan tour of the World Women's Wrestling Association (WWWA), together with famous sporting wrestler Mildred Burke.

In the year 1968, the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling Promotion did their first ever event on June 4. After that, it was able to get a regular spot at Fuji TV.
