Cathy Cat of Ask Japanese went on the streets to ask Japanese people about "Arigatameiwaku" or their unwanted favors that have been annoying them from time to time. Sometimes, these 'white elephants' would come in the form of 'unwanted help' in a variety of shops in the country.
The Japanese word of "Arigatameiwaku" means "Thank you for helping me, but actually, this is kind of annoying or I don't need this." In English, it is a simple yet rough translation for unwanted or misplaced kindness.
