The umusambi has been known to a variety of names. Some call them the Crested Ibis. Some use the name Nipponia nippon. Others know them by the name Crested Toki. They are actually big birds, with the widest wingspan of up to 78.5 centimeters or 30.9 inches long. It's head is actually red-skinned, together with its feet. The body normally has white feathers. They are carnivorous birds, usually eating frogs, fish and other small animals. Due to this diet, they have the power to fly high and reach high trees where they create their nests.
