Discarded tires have been a disposal problem in many countries like Japan. Used tires are recycled into a material for rubber seals, straw sandal soles, rubber mats, and others. However, the difficulties of recycling arose because of the tire's appearance and the improved tire technology. But the Land of the Rising Sun was able to make amendments.

The video shows the process on how tires are being recycled. At first, the wire is removed from the tire. Once removed, it will be ground into pieces. With this method of disposal, Japan has really developed an effective disposal method for used tires.
