Ryota Wada was just 9 years and 288 days when he became the ‘Youngest Perfect Score on Dance Dance Revolution’. On August 29, 2010, he achieved the perfect ‘AAA’ rating at the expert level to the song ‘Hyper Eurobeat’, making him the youngest gamer to achieve all Perfect score on the video game’s highest setting.
Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution, or DDR, is a music video game that aims to challenge the players’ coordination, accuracy and stamina. The players must dance by stepping on the arrows on the platform in time with the beat.
Ryota Wada is in the Guinness World Records’ 2011 Gamer’s Edition.
